From Ghana’s founding texts to everyday civic practice.

CREED Ghana helps communities turn the values in the National Anthem, the Pledge, and the Constitution into civic learning, ethical leadership, and practical community action.

A Ghana-grounded framework for renewal

CREED moves civic education beyond recitation: learn the principles, practice them in public life, and strengthen communities together.

1

Civic literacy and values education

Read Ghana’s moral texts as living guides to rights, responsibilities, and shared purpose.

2

Ethical leadership and accountability

Use the Leadership Lens—Vision, Virtue, Voice, and Vigilance—to reflect on integrity in leadership.

3

Participatory citizenship and community action

Help young people and communities turn civic understanding into locally chosen action. The Community Action Cycle offers a repeatable process: choose a local issue, act together, and review what changed.

4

Civic technology and innovation

Explore responsible digital tools that can support participation and public problem-solving.

5

Monitoring, evaluation, and sustainability

Co-develop practical ways to learn whether civic programs are useful and how they can endure. The CREED Renewal Index is a proposed measure of civic progress, to be tested and validated with research partners.

Where the work stands

CREED is preparing for the next step: collaborative pilot testing.

Current stage: framework developed; pilot partners sought.

The executive brief outlines ready-to-test materials and proposed models. They need feedback, testing, and collaborative development. CREED is seeking partners and critical review; this site does not present pilot results or validated impact findings.
